I offer vastram – this cloth offering to the Master who removes the veil of Maya or illusion, the Master who is the true light of enlightenment, who does not have a veil of Maya, and has the very space as the dress.
This mantra reveals that in offering a cloth to the master we awaken ourselves to the truth that the Avatar is the one who can remove the veil of Maya that we have so unknowingly placed upon our lives.
He is the light that scatters the darkness that lies deep within us. That he is us and we are he, and like Him we also don’t have a veil of Maya.
Vastra Alankara seva is the offering of the traditional Adheenam robes to Paramahamsa Nithyananda.
